Windows 7: Pre-Order Prices High

Now that Microsoft’s half price deal for Windows 7 has come to an end prices have now been bumped up to their usual levels, an article at Gizmodo is currently recommending that if you are still looking to purchase Windows 7 you should wait, this is because as the launch becomes closer more deals may emerge.

It is doubtful that these potential deals will equal the impressive half price deals they had for pre-orders, however any saving is worth the wait, especially considering that you cannot receive the OS until October 22nd anyway.

The fact that Apple’s Snow Leopard upgrade is only going to cost a $29 flat rate may well help reduce Microsoft’s price, however there is no guarantees. As we find out more we will keep you posted, check out Gizmodo for full details.
