Palm Pre Soap: Why?

The Palm pre has been out for a couple of months now and we knew it would not take someone long to clone the latest smartphone. Not sure how well the Pre will work though as it is made from Soap. We have to wonder why anyone would want to do this.

Etsy tell us that the soap is almost the same dimensions as the real Palm Pre handset; you can even see that the soap has the same black button at the bottom, along with its flat screen showing of some screen icons. The top part of the soap is almost black with a light shade of gray on the bottom.

The Palm Pre soap weighs about 3 oz and has a Bourbon & Coke fragrance. Etsy say that they are happy to meet with customer needs and will scent it to their liking. The soap also comes with shea butter and comes in a clear plastic box.
