Samsung have announced the launch of two new slider phones to the Korean market, these are the W8400 and W8700 Honey Bubble. These are mid-range handsets but still have a hefty price tag, these cell phones will be made available on the KT network.
According to IntoMobile, the first handset is the Samsung W8400; this comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA screen and offers speeds of up to 3.6Mbps HSDPA. The handset comes with all the usual features, such as GPS, SOS function and a microSD slot. There is not pricing on this phone just yet.
The better of the two is the W8700 Honey Bubble, Samsung have called it this because of the patterns on the back of the cell phone. The phone has just a 2-megapixel camera, but makes up for that with its T-DMB mobile TV receiver and pre-installed subway maps.
According to Samsung Hub, the Samsung W8700 Honey Bubble will cost 400,000 Won, that’s works out to around $325.
