Civilization app now on iPhone: Strategy gaming

If you have always enjoyed playing strategy games on your games console, desktop or laptop, then the one place left is your Apple iPhone. 2K Games have finally released Civilization for use on both the iPhone and iPod Touch.

You will take control of a choice of 16 playable civilizations, 2K Games have included the intuitive game mechanics, which the developer has tailor made for the iPhone and iPod Touch platforms. There are two versions of Civilization, Lite and the full retail version.

The full version of the game unlocks everything and you can still download it for just $4.99, but hurray as this will go up to $9.99 very shortly. If you love Civilization, then there is no reason why you would not want this on your portable Apple device.

We understand that it will not be as in-depth as the versions that you play in your home, but it does give you a taste of the game and you will certainly be kept occupied for hours. This is great if you are on the train and wish to pass the time away.
