AT&T Samsung A797 Spotted: unreleased handset

A new handset has shown up on BoyGeniusReport, it is the Samsung A797 and has AT&T branding. It is quite a shock as this handset has not had much if any coverage over the last few weeks and still remains a bit of a mystery. You can see low quality photos of the handset here.

The handsets specifications are still unannounced, from the pictures we can see it has a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard which looks like the Palm Pre’s, and appears to be touchscreen, the handset is said to have Bluetooth and an mp3 player.

As more details emerge we will keep you posted, however if you like the sound of the handset and live in or near Atlanta you can head over to Craig’s List where you can buy the handset for $115. As for official release dates and prices, we still have heard nothing, considering this version is selling for $115 we would expect the handset to retail quite cheaply too.
