Nokia 5530 XpressMusic: Video Hands-on

There is no denying how popular the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has been, but Engadget believes that the new less expensive brother, the 5530 more than out-classes it. You would have thought that the lack of 3G would harm the Nokia 5530, but strangely enough, it does not. If you wish to learn why, then view the video hands-on below.

Mobiles.co.uk have decided to put this video together, they have given us a front row seat of the unboxing as well as their impressions of this latest touchscreen handset from Nokia. The 5530 certainly turns heads with its sexy sleek looks.

The new handset comes with some new S60 5th edition additions; this includes the scrolling contacts bar. This does not do much to help the aging S60, which you can clearly see in the video review. Do you think that the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic will do as well as its older brother, the 5800, or will the lack of 3G put you off?

The Nokia 5530 is powerful and fast too. You can stack it with up to 12,000 music tracks or tons of videos and photos. It also provides built-in Wireless LAN and, in selected markets, three months of free and fast wireless Internet – thanks to a collaboration between Nokia and Boingo, which works with hotspot operators around the world.

The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is a brilliant and youthful, touch-screen phone that brings music and entertainment vividly to life.
