New Audi A8: Is this it?

There seems to be a lot of hype over the new Audi A8, and these recent images have now surfaced, but are these the pictures of the new A8, that is the question that AutoBlog have been asking. The images were found over at VW Vortex.

The pictures were taken from Ryan, a reader of AutoBlog; he stumbled across the car while on a trip in Arizona. He first thought that it was an A6, but he then came to the conclusion that it had to be the new A8 and not a short-wheelbase version of the A6.

The A8 that was on the road was well disguised with some chrome striping apes as well as Mitsubishi’s “jet-fighter” grille and a Mitsubishi diamond-star insignia. Check out more of the shots of these car over at VW Vortex. Let us know if you think that this is really the new Audi A8.
