HTC Hero: Not coming to T-Mobile USA

There was a recent rumor that the HTC Hero would be coming to T-Mobile USA, but TmoNews has reported that this rumor was indeed fake. T-Mobile has announced that the HTC Hero would not be coming to T-Mobile; this is a shame as consumers were looking forward to getting their hands on the phone.

T-Mobile has said that the release of the myTouch 3G is more than enough Android for them to handle. The carrier have said that they only want the one Android handset for the foreseeable future, even HTC have confirmed that they have no plans to offer the Hero to T-Mobile USA.

For those of you in the States who still wishes to get their hands on the HTC Hero, then on October 11, you can with Sprint. As we mentioned above, the Hero is powered by the Google Android OS and comes with a more than adequate 5-megapixel camera.
