There are fresh rumors that Dell will be launching its Android-Based cell phone in China within the next couple of days. This is according to Tech Crunch, who is now in the process of trying to confirm this latest rumor that has recently come out of Asia.
Tech Crunch has said that their sources in Asia have been spot on in the past, so it looks as though this one could actually be true. So far, the news is very thin, so is all speculation for now, but more news should follow shortly.
The rumor of a Dell handset being launched in China have been circulating for the past few months now, the most recent being that China Mobile or China Unicom will be the network carriers for the new phones. The other rumors is that Google Android OS will power the Dell cell phone and that it will resemble an iPod Touch.
Some other rumors have said that Dell was working on its own operating system, as they have been working closely with software maker Red Office. We will update you once more news is made available.
