CEDIA 2009: Predictions

With the CEDIA show only one month away many people are beginning to predict what they feel will steal the show. The CEDIA show (Custom Electronic Design & Installation) usually uncovers what are going to be the biggest devices to be released over the next year, kind of like the home medias equivalent to E3.

EngadgetHD have created a large document covering what they believe will be the biggest announcements at the show, these include the Zune HD’s WiFi streaming and remote control, an ATI Digital Cable Tuner, an official Hauppauge HD PVR driver and a DISH Network HD Tuner.

Also EngdadgetHD looked into the less likely but possible announcements, such as the Sky TV HD tuner, Silverlight Media Center video playback, Zune video store on Media Center, Official Blu-ray Managed Copy support in Media Center and a few others, check their article for full details.

Check out Engadget for the original article, or EngadgetHD for a fully detailed look into CEDIA.
