BlackBerry Storm 9500 OS 4.7.0.167 Update

Good news for owners of the BlackBerry Storm (Taiwan Mobile), RIM have now released OS 4.7.0.167 for the Storm 9500 series, no details have yet emerged for the OS and what exactly has changed, however I’m sure that details will emerge pretty soon. To download the new OS version head over to BlackBerry’s download pages.
At the moment we are not sure whether or not this “Taiwan Mobile” version of the OS is compatible with all versions of the Strom 9500 series, so my recommendation would be to not install it unless you hear information clarifying it will work on your handset version.
As always if you do decide to update your OS be sure to backup all of your personal data before hand, and also ensure that your handset hasn’t got a near flat battery. Have you installed OS 4.7.0.167? Feel free to write a mini review below.

The screen is always freezing - the responsiveness is very poor. When you speak to people you accidently mute them or put them on hold - or even hang up on them.
Seriously, it looks great, but it’s functionality is shocking. Do not get this phone or you will lose a lot of money…
