A few images of the BlackBerry Onyx have shown up on the CrackBerry forums, they are quite high definition and give us a look at the handset from a few different angles, you can also see the leather battery door at the back of the handset.
From what we can hear the most noticeable changes in the BlackBerry 9700 will be software related, the trackpad and keyboard look very similar to other BlackBerry handsets. The handset does have a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 480 x 360 display and has WiFi AND 3G connectivity.
AT&T are currently the confirmed carrier of the handset, however as we find out more we will keep you informed. We are still waiting to hear from RIM for a release date. Check out the images on CrackBerry here.
