Apple iTunes 9: Blu-ray Support and More

BGR has received a tip of some of the upcoming features that could be included on iTunes 9. One of those features is thought to be support for Blu-ray, this coincides with a recent article that we covered saying that the next-generation of Apple iMacs would also offer Blu-ray support.

Another great feature for iTunes 9 is the ability for you to organize and arrange your iPhone and iPod touch apps visually. There have also been a number of rumors regarding Twitter/Facebook/Last.fm integration, but this has still not been described clearly.

There is no timeframe as to when iTunes 9 will be released, but as the yearly Apple iPod event is around September, this is a possible release date. If iTunes 9 is not released then, hopefully Apple will give us some sort of announcement.
