8GB iPhone 3GS: Confirmed by Rogers Wireless web page

A new web page on Rogers Wireless has now appeared, confirming a recent screenshot that was taken of the carriers’ internal retail software. It now seems that there will be a new cheaper 8GB iPhone 3GS model, making it more affordable for consumers to own a new iPhone 3G S.

Mac Rumors reports that you can see an iPhone Comparison tab, showing a chart of the different models of iPhone 3GS handsets as well as listing all of its features. The chart listing shows us the iPhone 3G and 3GS as well as their storage capacity; this now includes the 3GS with 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities.

It is assumed that Roger Wireless will sell its current stock of 8GB iPhone 3G before it starts to offer the new 8GB 3GS. The price for the new smaller capacity 3GS is still unknown and it is also unknown if other markets will be getting the new 8GB iPhone 3G S.
