Starcraft II Wings of Liberty release date delayed to 2010
By: Alan Ng | August 6, 2009 | Leave a CommentSome disappointing news to report now as Activision Blizzard have announced that Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty will be delayed until next year. With fans waiting around ’11 years’ for this game to come out, many thought that it would finally happen during 2009, but sadly, that isn’t the case.
As reported from WeBlogs, its not only gamers that are disappointed by the delay. Activison have stated their disappointment at the news, as it will mean the company losing around $250 million from their revenue this year. Crikey.
Of course theres always two sides to a delay, as you could argue the pointless reason for Blizzard to release a game that clearly isn’t ready for the public yet. We’re sure everyone would rather enjoy a bug free game rather than a speedy release plagued with problems.
