Sony WX1 and TX1 Cyber-shot cameras released

Sony just have announced a few new additions to their ever popular range of Cyber-shot digital cameras. The WX1 and TX1 have just been unveiled and both will be available in the next few months.
As reported from Slashgear, both of the cameras feature the new Exmore R back-illuminated CMOS sensor and both also come equipped with a 10.2 megapixel resolution.
As for the differences between the two, the TX1 comes with a 4x optical zoom, 3-inch LCD display screen and 720p video recording. The WX1 comes with a 5x optical zoom, 720p recording but a slightly smaller 2.7-inch screen.
Other new features include ‘pet mode’, which is said to help reduce red eye effects, while theres also anti-blur and multishot modes too.
The Sony TX1 will be available first in September for around $380, while you’ll be able to pick up the WX1 in October for around $350.
