Boost Mobile Phones: Series of new commercials
By: Peter Chubb | August 6, 2009 | Leave a CommentBoost Mobile Phones have now started a marketing campaign targeted at its Hispanic customers. They have now started to run a series of new commercials that show people becoming immune to the abuse of additional fees and charges from other wireless carriers.
In their commercial, Boost Mobile states that consumers know that there are a number of painfully unfair things in life, but they do nothing about it. According to Media Post, Boost Mobile says, “They accept the abuses as part of life and being Latino.”
There is also a second part to this campaign, as customers are now used to being abused like this they no longer fear having an accident. In one of the commercials, a construction worker shoots a colleague with a pneumatic air gun.
His coworker does not feel the nails driving into his back, as he has taken so much abuse from his cell phone provider that he can take anything. This does sound like a strange commercial; we have to wonder if the right message is coming across.
