Olympus E-P2 and Leica M9 release rumor

There is a very brief article on Engadget which seems to suggest that two new digital cameras are on the horizon, these are the Olympus E-P2 and the Leica M9. The news comes from a reputable French magazine called Chasseur d’Image, at the moment details are very vague however we will keep you posted.
The Olympus E-P2 is the successor of the Olympus E-P1, the E-P2 should be available before the end of the year and I would imagine it will improve on the E-P1 already impressive specifications (12.3 megapixel sensor along with the capability of shooting 720p video). The E-P2 is also said to have a viewfinder which its predecessor didn’t have.
The Leica M9 is the successor to the Leica M8, it should be available sometime around September and will try to build from what was a very good standard set by the M8. I would imagine that Leica will try and keep their old-style look however improve on the M8’s specification, which featured a 10.3 megapixel sensor.
No prices or definite release dates have been announced for the two cameras, however as more details emerge we will keep you posted. Check out Engadget for the full article.
