Apple’s GarageBand 5.1 Released: Patch Notes Listed

Earlier this week Apple released GarageBand 5.1, this is an update for the version which comes with iLife ’09. This update is said to include “several improvements” and also support some technologies not supported in earlier versions, along with these changes the software is said to be more stable and is also said to smooth out some compatibility issues.

Apple released the following patch note regarding the update, GarageBand track effects and Audio Units can now be added to a guitar track, improved support for Apogee audio interfaces, faster switching to full screen in Magic GarageBand and improved access to audio monitoring settings.

The patch is a 139MB update which is available through Apple’s Software Update, Apple currently recommend this update for all GarageBand ’09 users. Check out the original article on MacObserver.
