Verizon Wireless drops prices of virtually all its smartphones

Great news if you are thinking of subscribing to Verizon Wireless, as the company have just announced that they have reduced the price for the ‘majority’ of their smartphone handsets to just $99.

As reported from Electronista, the reductions still mean that you’ll have to sign up to a 2 year contract, but considering how high priced some of their handsets were previously, this seems like a good deal to us.

For example, the HTC Pro2 is now part of the reduction, saving you a staggering $320 in the process. Electronista understands that the only phones that remain unaffected by the deal are the Samsung Saga and BlackBerry Tour.

Head on down to your nearest Verizon store to take advantage of the reductions. Let us know what you make of the news.
