Sprint has expanded sales of Palm’s Pre smartphone

According to an article on electronista Sprint have expanded sales of its Palm Pre handsets, they have done this by adding their Palm Pre’s to a number of online retailers, these retailers include Amazon.com and LetsTalk.
Yesterday LetsTalk ran a promotion which brought the price of the Pre down to $99, if other retailers follow LetsTalk’s offer it will allow the Pre to directly compete with the $99 iPhone 3G.
It is thought a comparison between sales of the Palm Pre and iPhone 3GS should be available after the third quarter. Check out electonista for more details.
