PS3 Price Cut and Slim News: Possibly August 18th

We briefly told you about the possibility of Sony revealing the PS3 Slim console and also a price cut at their upcoming press conference at this year’s GamesCom event. Well we have heard some more speculation on this, as rumors indicate that a PS3 price cut is ‘days away’.

Thats according to website PSInsider, who claim that Sony plan to announce price cuts for its series of ‘Playstation Products’ on August 18th. Speculation continues to mount on whether Sony are planning to announce a price cut for the PSP-3000 as well as the Playstation 3 console.

And what about the PS3 Slim? With so many related news on this recently, its safe to say that its only a matter of time until the slimline system is announced. Dont forget that Sony have a 3 hour press conference to cram everything in, so fans are definately in for a treat.
