HMV’s UK online store has now announced that the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition is now “Unavailable”, however it is still available for the Sony PlayStation 3. Whether they will begin selling them again probably depends on anticipated stock levels.
The Xbox 360 Prestige Edition was selling for £119.99 whereas the PlayStation 3 Prestige Edition is selling for £149.99. Currently HMV have not indicated as to whether or not they will be re-selling the Xbox 360 Prestige Edition, we will keep you posted as more details emerge.
Personally I don’t understand how there can be a £30 price difference between the two platforms editions, I can understand perhaps a £10-£15 price difference however £30 seems a bit steep. Check out the original article on Project-Natal.

and then you wonder why the xbox version of the game sell better.
ummm actually PS3 games sell better since most xbox users hacked their box…..
The PS3 version is the same price as the XBox version.
NOOOOOOO, how can they do this, this is stupid, i only just found out about the prestige edition and now its Unavailable. Thats an outrage
How is it an outrage? We sold out quick in this country, you just need to have better luck next time. They aren’t getting anymore in though. And whoever wrote the article, the ps3 version was never priced at £149, research please. Can’t be too much to ask for.
