Kensington’s unique travel dock for iPhones and iPods

Yesterday Kensington announced a new unique travel dock which can be used with iPhones and iPods. The thing that makes this dock unique is that it has its own battery pack which enhances the iPod/iPhones playback time. The dock is expected to retail at $70 and will begin shipping in late October.

The battery pack will give the iPod/iPhone around 30 extra hours of music playback, 6 hours of extra web usage and approximately 3 extra hours of talk time. When charging it uses a single USB port to charge both the dock and the device sitting in the dock.

This dock is expected to be compatible with all iPhones and all editions of the iPod which uses a Dock Connector and should even work with devices in a casing. Check out ipodnm.com for further details.
