Facebook connectivity for Nintendo DSi

Yesterday we reported to you on the news of a firmware update for the Nintendo DSi, effectively bringing a stop to flash card piracy that has been going on lately. On a slightly positive note, one new feature as part of the firmware update is Facebook integration into the DSi.

As reported from Engadget, Europe and Japan are already enjoying this feature, but Facebook should now be available for DSi owners in North America too.

One handy new aspect of the feature, is that it allows you to upload photos taken with the DSi’s camera, directly onto your Facebook account, which is pretty nifty if we may say so.

Let us know how you’re getting on with the new Facebook features on your DSi, im sure it doesn’t make up for the flash card issue though eh?
