COD 4: Modern Warfare – Patch coming to Xbox 360, PS3

For those of you thinking that you’ll be able to carry on exploiting COD4 while Infinity Ward focuses on Modern Warfare 2, think again! The developers have confirmed that a patch is on the way for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game, that will address all the exploits present.

The news was confirmed from Rob Bowling, over on his Twitter account. Seriously, when is anything announced NOT via Twitter these days? We’re not complaining in the slightest though, its a great method of keeping the public updated on events 24/7, wouldn’t you agree?

Back to the patch though and Infinity Ward have revealed that they already know what is going on in the game and are dealing with it accordingly.

The comment over at Twitter reads: “Success! A patch is in the works for PS3 and Xbox 360 to address the recent COD4 exploits. I’ll keep you posted on the progress,”
