BlizzCon 2009: Diablo II 1.13 Patch Release

Its been a while since we have heard anything from Blizzard regarding their Diablo franchise, well according to an article on Diablo3X it seems that they are now due to release an update for Diablo II.

This update has no definite release date but is expected soon, as more details on dates emerge we will be sure to keep you posted.

The release of the 1.13 patch is said to coincide with the Diablo II ladder reset, currently the patch is undergoing beta testing, so as long as no major bugs are discovered during the test period the update should be live soon.

    I’ve always loved blizzard games,
and I will always hate their delays and mysticism about release dates.
If their patches would be perfect and solve all bugs, i could understand..
but infact, they have never been for diablo 2.

It is really making me angry. Bashiok says, “as soon as april…” Well it is almost September now and no new updates about the patch. Come on!! After ruining the game economy by blabbing off that the patch was coming SOON, I decided well I guess I better delete my chars and wait for the new patch to come in a couple weeks. NOPE it didn’t happen in a couple weeks, here it is 6 months later. NO PATCH. Now I don’t want to restart because the patch could be anytime. Word of advice Blizzard, before running your mouths off about a patch coming soon, how about not telling us the patch is coming unless it really is SOON.
