BlackBerry Storm 2 (9550): Verizon and Vodafone UK

With more and more of the BlackBerry Storm 2 details becoming clearer there are now stories emerging stating what carriers the Storm 2 will be exclusive on, and when these carriers will be offering the new BlackBerry Storm 2.

If IntoMobile’s sources are correct it would seem that Vodafone UK will have UK exclusivity sometime in October, whereas Verizon wwill have U.S exclusivity as of November. As mentioned previously these dates and carriers are not confirmed by RIM yet, however if they do turn out to be correct it may cause quite a stir with some of its competitors.

Whether or not the BlackBerry Storm 2 will affect the market greatly when its up against popular handsets such as the iPhone 3GS and the Palm Pre is hard to say, however if it follows in the footsteps of other RIM handsets it could cause quite an impact.
