
After Windows 7 Ships: Laptop Design Overhaul

The main reason that Windows 7 will have such an impact is because of the ever growing needs of performance and efficiency, performance and efficiency does naturally progress over time however cooling these newer more advanced chips is always an issue.
Eden spoke about many different considerations that are having to be taken into account with thinner laptops with faster chips, Eden said “We are putting a lot of effort into designing fans,” these fans can now get the hot air out a lot faster then previous fans, Eden also talked about Laminar air flow technology.
