By: Alan Ng | August 3, 2009 | Leave a CommentAre you currently a netbook user? If so, I bet the best thing about your netbook is the next-to-nothing price that you managed to pick it up for. A recent article we have found explains why this all might be coming to a premature end, with the arrival of Windows 7.
As reported from i4U, netbooks are a great option for those of us who dont have the large wads of cash to splash out on a laptop or desktop. Microsoft licensed XP for netbooks for a very low price so that they could get a piece of the market share.
But with Windows 7 on the way, Microsoft is expected to charge netbook manufacturers a heavy price to include Windows 7 on their systems, meaning that consumers will have to pay a lot more if they intend to pick up a Windows 7 capable machine.
