Sony VAIO W Netbook Review: Not Revolutionary

We have a review for you to check out, for the new Sony VAIO W Netbook. The new netbook is available to buy from Sony in a choice of colors for around $499, which is a very fair price we might add.

The review comes to you courtesy of ComputerShopper, who have give their opinon in depth on Sony’s first real netbook. Key specs of the VAIO W include an 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM and a 10.1- inch display screen.

It runs on Windows XP Home Edition and weighs just 2.6 pounds. Advantages of the netbook are its touch pad, high resolution display and stylish design. Bad points include very short battery life, only two USB ports and a rather small keyboard.
