Following all of our previous posts regarding the highly anticipated Samsung Omnia II a new article has emerged on phoneArena, there are no new details of the handset, however there are some high res photo’s showing its full HTML browser along with its vibrant AMOLED display.

The Omnia II has some pretty pretty decent hardware and software beneath its elegant design, it has a 3.7 inch AMOLED display which supports a resolution of 480 x 800, this display uses TouchWiz technology, the handset also has a blistering 800Mhz processor and runs a skinned version of Windows Mobile 6.1, this will be upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.5 aka Windows Phone when its released.

The Omnia II supports pretty much all the modern technologies expected from a high end smartphone these days, it has built in WiFi and Bluetooth version 2.0, GPS and as previously mentioned it has a full HTML browser. It is thought that there will be options on the internal storage capacity, these range from 2GB to 16GB, which will allow you to store plenty of photos taken on its 5 megapixel camera.

Check out phoneArena for the original article, which includes a few photo’s too, there is also a detailed technical specification here.
