BlackBerry App World 1.1 Released

RIM have now released an update for App World for BlackBerry handsets, the update will probably show up on your BlackBerry soon if you haven’t already seen the red star on the App World icon. The update is for App World version 1.1, and is said to include a whole list of changes and improvements.

The update includes the following, a new free vs paid application discovery option, more categories and sub categories, additional ways to sort search results (which includes by rating, price, alphabetical etc). One of the most useful functions that has been added is an option to archive your Apps, this allows you to archive your apps to a memory card and re-install them when you want to use them.
