After Cash for Clunkers Suspended: Did u Benefit?

We reported a few days ago that the Cash for Clunkers Program was up and running, just a few days later that Government incentive is now suspended. Did you manage to benefit from the deal before the $1 billion that was put aside ran out?

The funny thing is, the Car Allowance Rebate System, or CARS was meant to last through to November, but by Wednesday, 22,782 vehicles had been purchased through this program with $96 million of the $1 billion already being spent.

The Transportation Department had to alert government officials that the program was close to running out of money, the White House said that the program had not been suspended. So what is happening?

It looks as though the White House is looking at a number of options to keep the program funded, for those of you who have taken advantage of the deal, all-valid CARS transactions that have taken place will be honored.
