Windows 7 to be adopted faster than Vista was
By: Jamie Pert | July 30, 2009 | Leave a CommentWith the Windows 7 release just around the corner many people have already pre-ordered the OS, also another major boost is that Intel have reported that its 80,000 employees will switch to Windows 7 much quicker then they switched to Vista. With such a big expected following already it shows that on the whole Windows 7 is being adopted much quicker than Windows Vista.
A spokesman for Intel recently said Intel sees “just one big positive”, this is from a business point of view, Vista never really took off for businesses quickly because of a few reasons, one of those being that it was considered buggy and another reason was because its system requirements were too high, Windows 7 does not have the same problems.
Obviously if Intel are saying its employees will be migrating to Windows 7 much quicker then they did for Windows Vista it will set a trend for other businesses to follow.
