New Apple Time Capsule’s: 1TB and 2TB

According to MacRumors.com, Apple has updated their Time Capsule combination wireless router/network storage device to double their respective capacity at the same price point as the previous models: 1TB for $299 and 2TB for $499. You can get hold of the new models on the Online Apple Store.

This morning Apple had the new Time Capsule models available in the Online Apple Store but had not updated the main Time Capsule page, this has now been resolved and the main Time Capsule page has been updated to show the new models and information about them.

Rumours of the 2TB Time Capsule first surfaced back in April this year when Apple’s retailer ClubMac had a picture of the 2TB models box appear on their 500gb models “Product detail” page, and as the pictures are generally supplied directly from Apple themselves, this was proof enough for most that the 2TB version would soon be making an appearance.
