Microsoft launches free MSN Video Player
By: Alan Ng | July 30, 2009 | Leave a CommentMicrosoft have announced the launch of their brand new MSN Video Player, which will give UK broadband owners to chance to watch television shows such as Peep Show, Shameless and The Young Ones.
As reported from the Guardian, the move will see Microsoft attempt to rival the likes of other online video players such as Hulu and Arqiva. If all goes to plan, Microsoft hope to push out MSN Video Player as early as next week, as the company have already stuck deals with BBC Worldwide and All3Media.
The video player will be funded by the use of ads and will launch with around 300 hours of BBC content. Are you prepared to give this new player a go, or are you sticking with Hulu? Let us know your thoughts on this.
