Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2: review
By: Jamie Pert | July 30, 2009 | Leave a CommentCnet have recently reviewed the new Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 netbook, this is Lenovo’s new slimmer and cheaper version of the S10 netbook. The reviews are quite mixed so far to be honest, however it is said to be an improvement on the original S10.
The IdeaPad S10-2 features an Intel Atom N270 1.6Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM, a Mobile Intel 945GSE Express Chipset, 160GB hard disk drive, a 10.2 inch display which supports a resolution of up to 1024 x 600, and an Intel GMA 950 graphics chipset. The netbook runs Windows XP Home and has a battery life of around 6 hours, apart from this the netbook has the standard features of many other similar netbooks (WiFi, VGA-out etc).
From Cnets review overall they are pretty happy with the netbook especially its improved batter life when compared to the S10, however the battery is said to protrude which makes the netbook look quite ugly, also the lack of an ExpressCard slot cuts down connectivity options in the future.
