
JVC’s Everio GZ-HM400: Full HD camcorder
By: Jamie Pert | July 30, 2009 | 2 CommentsJVC’s newest HD camcorder has shown up on EngadgetHD, the camcorder is part of JVS’s Everio series and is called the JVC Everio GZ-HM400, and shoots full 1080p HD video. No US release date has been confirmed yet however it is expected to be on sale in Japan in early August for ¥110,000 ($1,157).
The camcorder boasts some impressive specifications, such as a 10.3 megapixel CMOS sensor, a 2.8 inch LCD display, 32GB internal storage along with an SD / SDHC expansion slot. It also has HDMI output a 10x optical zoom and an extremely impressive 600fps slow motion mode. It can store up to 3 hours of full 1080P HD video and can take still images at 9 megapixels.
