Small Pioneer DVR-XD09 USB DVD Burner

Pioneer recently announced a new small and lightweight DVD/CD burner, this new burner is ideal for users wanting a portable drive to accompany their netbook or notebook. The drive is called the Pioneer DVR-XD09 and is said to be the most compact external DVD burner currently on the market.

The DVR-XD09 weighs in at just eight ounces and is just a little bit bigger than a CD case. The drive uses a single USB port for both data and power, it writes DVD’s at up to 8x and writes CD’s at up to 24x, it also burns dual layer DVD’s.
