Slacker Radio on BlackBerry Tour devices

You may have read our post earlier this month regarding Slacker being pushed onto Verizon BlackBerry Storms automatically over the air, well now it seems that this is also the case for the Verzion BlackBerry Tours. If you have a BlackBery Tour that has not received the Slacker icon you should see it soon on your handset.

Along with this, a new deal seems to have emerged between Slacker and Verizon, this deal allows Slacker Radio to link in with Verizon’s V Cast store, which in-turn links in to the Rhapsody catalog, this results in the Verizon version of the BlackBerry Storm and Tour having over 4.5 million songs to download through the Slacker application.
