Palm webOS: More Apps Incoming
By: Peter Chubb | July 29, 2009 | 2 CommentsPalm had offered us so much with the launch of the Pre, but new apps have been scarce just recently, leading to worries that Palm and its webOS was being abandoned by developers. However after weeks of waiting a few more apps have started to appear.
The Official Palm Blog is not getting its hopes up, even though more apps have been added to Palm’s App Catalog. There were rumors recently that the App Catalog would start to get some serious additions and it looks as though that rumor has started to bear fruit.
Some of the new apps added include, OpenTable and Fliq Bookmarks. OpenTable allows you to book yourself a table at a restaurant nearby. Fliq Bookmarks works with the Missing Sync, allowing you to transfer Safari bookmarks from your Mac to your Pre smartphone.
These two are not the best apps that we could have hoped for, but at least it is a start.
