Microsoft have recently announced plans to release their Office 2010 Click-To-Run Technical Preview program, but not to everyone. A recent report has found that the preview program will only be available to those to have access to the office suite beta.
According to Electonista, the preview will allow users to use Office programs while they are still downloading in the background. Programs include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote.
As usual the software will be intended for student, home and business use, with Microsoft keen to get as much input as possible from the public, during the beta stage of Office 2010.
Office Click-to-Run preview will support Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP1 and the beta version of Windows 7. More details can be found over at Electronista.

I tend to favour SSuite Office’s free office suites. Their software also don’t need to run on Java or .NET, like so many open source office suites, so it makes the software very small and efficient. [www.ssuitesoft.com]
