Following on from our recent article that Apple has removed Google Voice from its App Store, iPhone users were not happy with the news that GV was rejected. If you have a jailbroken iPhone, then you will pleased to learn that jailbreakers have been picking up the pieces.
GV Mobile developer Sean Kovacs has now ported his app over to Cydia free of charge, however if you wish to make a donation, then they will be greatly received. Engadget also reports that Kovacs is already working on a web app version of Google Voice, it is assumed that this will be submitted to Palm’s app catalog.
There is still no word as to what the fate of GVdialer will be, we are sure that this will follow in the same footsteps of GV. Google Voice is only in beta at the moment, but once it comes out of testing, then we expect the floodgates to open.
