Apple rejects Google Voice for iPhone, approves iWet T-Shirts
By: Jamie Pert | July 29, 2009
You may have read the news recently stating that Google Voice had been removed from the App Store, well it seems that Apple have decided to reject the software from running on their iPhones. Many users are frustrated as this news comes the same week that Apple approved iWet T-Shirts, this application is pretty self explanatory as it lets you hose down girls T-shirts.
Not only is this a bad thing for Google but it perhaps could lead to more users choosing alternatives to the iPhone, as the Google Voice technology is becoming more and more popular. The fact that Apple allows iWet T-Shirts and declines functional tools like Google Voice does make you wonder where their priorities are. For those of you who have a jailbroken iPhone it seems that Google Voice should still be available.
Check out the original article on Gizmodo.
Now Google Voice seems as if it will never be available for iPhone, do you think this will lead to customers choosing alternative handsets?
