The Symbian Foundation Launches UI Brainstorm
By: Jamie Pert | July 28, 2009 | Leave a CommentWith the ever growing competition between many different smartphone Operating System’s it seems that Symbian are taking a new approach to help bring back its Nokia OS to compete with Apple OS 3.0, webOS, Android etc. The basic idea is to allow users to suggest their ideas to ‘The Symbian Foundation’.
The Symbian Foundation website allows users to submit basic ideas they have for the OS accompanied by a few short paragraphs, these submissions then get reviewed by the site admin and added if suitable.
In my opinion this is a great idea for Symbian as I have so many frustrations with the Symbian OS on my Nokia N96. To see the original article head over to Logosone. If you want to suggest an OS improvement to Symbian head over to The Symbian Foundation.
