Sprint Buys Virgin Mobile USA

Well we’re in a Recession, but nobody seems to have told Sprint that. They have just whacked out a massive $483 million to acquire the majority share of Virgin Mobile.

They have taken over Virgin Mobile and now intend to partner it with their Boost Mobile brand which until that 483 million rolled out of the bank had been in direct competition with Virgin Mobile. Well not anymore, seemingly the MVNO scene is a one brand race.

The question is, was it really worth 483 million to take over what’s left of the MVNO scene? Probably not. What do you think readers?
