Plastic Logic eReader to join iPhone and BlackBerry in eBooks market

Plastic Logic has finally announced that they are to launch its eReader on the Apple iPhone and RIM BlackBerry handsets. They will now join the eBooks market through Barnes & Noble in the US, as they have announced they are to launch a new e-bookstore.
Barnes & Noble, which is said to be the largest bookseller is said to be offering Plastic Logic’s eReader as a platform to gain access to its new eBook platform. The ebookstore, which is said to offer more than 700,000 titles, will sell for around $9.99 and according to Cambridge News Online; this will increase to more than a million within a year.
The new Plastic Logic eReader is due to be launched early in 2010 and is designed for the businessmen and women. It is also reported that AT&T’s 3G network will offer the connection to mobile broadband for the new eReader device.
