AT&T has unblocked 4chan
By: Jamie Pert | July 28, 2009
You may heave read our post yesterday reporting that AT&T were blocking access to the 4Chan site, well it seems that the blocking was due to an incorrect implementation of filter that AT&T had added.
Initially AT&T apparently intended to just filter out some traffic that 4chan were responsible for however it seems that it ended up filtering out everything, the 4Chan owner Moot said “For the past three weeks, 4chan has been under a constant DDoS attack. We were able to filter this specific type of attack in a fashion that was more or less transparent to the end user,”.
