When we first learned that Seth Rogen would be taking the lead role in The Green Hornet, we started to question if the comic actor was the right choice. Rogen will have some help in making his role believable and that is with the help of the car that will feature prominently in the movie, called Black Beauty, which was on show at Comic-Con 2009.
The Black Beauty is the Hornet’s signature ride, and AutoBlog have some cool photos of this car for you to enjoy, which are courtesy of Drew Phillips. The movie version of the car is like the TV version, which is based on a 1966 Imperial Crown 4-door hardtop.
The most notable thing from the Black Beauty is its grille- and bumper-mounted weapons, and the new addition of a pair of Gatling guns mounted on its hood. If the Green Hornet does not do well at the Box Office, it will have nothing to do with this awesome car.

Does anyone know who manufactured the Black Beauty model for Comic Con??? Someone told me it was Valley Monuments, Inc. since their group designs and fabricates themed 3-D props, scale replicas and other visual merchandising displays and stuff, but I don’t see any pics of it on their website. I can’t wait for this movie!!!!!
